🔮 Overview

The Body Electric presents Becker’s groundbreaking research showing that the body is fundamentally electrical, not merely biochemical. He demonstrates that slow, direct‑current (DC) electromagnetic fields guide healing, regeneration, and even aspects of consciousness. His work challenges mechanistic biology and reintroduces electricity as a vital organizing force in living systems.

🌌 Core Themes

• Bioelectric Fields — DC currents as the organism’s primary regulatory system
• Regeneration — limb regrowth and tissue repair driven by electrical gradients
• Healing Currents — injury‑related electrical signals that initiate repair
• Electromagnetic Consciousness — DC fields shaping awareness and cognitive states
• Evolutionary Bioelectricity — electricity as a foundational biological mechanism
• Electroceuticals — therapeutic modulation of bioelectric circuits
• Energy & Life — electricity as a universal organizing principle in living organisms

🧠 Metaphysical Interpretation

Becker’s findings reveal a metaphysical architecture where electricity is the substrate of life and awareness. The body’s DC field becomes a symbolic map of intention, vitality, and coherence. Consciousness emerges not only from neural firing but from whole‑body electromagnetic organization, echoing Hermetic vibration and Theosophical subtle‑body models.

This positions the human being as an electromagnetic organism, where healing, regeneration, and perception are expressions of deeper energetic order.

📘 Chapter‑Level Breakdown (Conceptual)

• Bioelectricity as the foundation of healing and regeneration
• DC injury currents and their role in tissue repair
• Regrowth phenomena in salamanders and implications for humans
• Electrical control systems underlying awareness and consciousness
• Evolutionary significance of bioelectric mechanisms
• The body’s “self‑mending net” and innate healing intelligence
• Electromagnetic fields as the essence of life and biological organization

🔥 Why This Book Matters

The Body Electric is the cornerstone of bioelectric metaphysics. It expands the subtle‑body model beyond chakras and aura into measurable electrical fields that govern healing, regeneration, and consciousness. For Pillar 8, it provides the scientific‑metaphysical bridge between energy anatomy and the physical body.
